MEMBERSHIP

Membership of South Kedah Shooting Club

Any person, irrespective of any race or sex, having attained the age of 18 years and above and of good character, shall be eligible to be a member of the club.

Every application for membership shall be made in the prescribe form, proposed and seconded by two Life members or Ordinary members at least three (3) years standing, Honorary Life and /or Life Members who personally know the applicant and submitted to the Honorary Secretary for consideration by the Management Committee.

Every applicant whose application has been approved as aforesaid shall upon payment of the prescribed entrance fee and annual subscription, be admitted as a member of the club and shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership.

Details of Membership

Honorable Member  

The committee may ,at its discretion,invite and appoint any person or persons to be Hon. Member or Members who,in its opinion, will be beneficial to the club for such period or periods as the Committee may think fit. A person so appointed shall enjoy all the amenities and privileges of the club without having to pay any fee or subscription but shall not have voting right or hold any office of the club.

An Hon. Member shall not be entitle for any claim of any share of the property of the club upon its dissolution.


 Life Member (LM)

Divided into:-

(a) Honorary Life  Member ( HLM )

A member except an Hon. Member who has continuous membership pf more than 10 years and contributed services to the club, may be elected an Hon.Life Member at any General Meeting of the club and shall thereafter continue to enjoy all the rights and privileges of membership without having to pay any fee or subscription.

Hon. Life Member residing outside South Kedah, namely the district of Kulim, Baling and Bandar Bahru, shall not have any voting right or hold any office or propose or second any applicant for membership or nomination for any office of the club.

(b) Ordinary Life Member

The committee may, at its discretion, elect as a Life Member any Ordinary Member on payment under Rule 11 a. and he shall be entitled to all right and privileges of membership.

Ordinary Life Member residing outside South Kedah, namely the district of Kulim, Baling and Bandar Bahru, shall not have any voting right or hold any office or propose or second any applicant for membership or nomination for any office of the club.


Ordinary Member (OM)

Ordinary  Member shall be confined to residents  South Kedah, namely the district of Kulim, Baling and Bandar Bahru and shall enjoy all the right and privileges of membership.


Associate Member (AM)

Associate Member shall be confined to residents outside South Kedah, namely the district of Kulim, Baling and Bandar Bahru.

If elected, such member shall be entitle to all right and privilege of membership except that he shall not have any voting right or hold any office of the club.

Associate Member shall not be entitle to any claim of any share of the property of the club upon its dissolution.

Police Members ( PM )

Police Members  shall be confined to members of the Police Force who are residents of South Kedah, namely the  district of Kulim, Baling and Bandar Bahru and shall enjoy all the right and privileges of membership.
