About  Kelab Menembak Kedah Selatan

Kelab Menembak Kedah Selatan is located  in Kulim, Kedah. This club formally was found and established by Lim Kee Siang, PJK . Soon Cheng Sai , Chin Chun Swee, DSDK,AMK,PJK,JP. in 1983. The club vision is to be the best shooting academic in  Kedah and play it role to influence young generation in Kedah to participate and be an excellent shooter for Nation Worldwide.

The club missions are to provide good training and coach in shooting to all civilian in Kedah and Nation who interested in shooting. Encourage more youngsters to excel in shooting by providing them modern technique in shooting, facilities, and technologies.

Objectives to be achieved are:

- To provide quality shooting training for all serious National Shooters.

- To provide new shooters with the right training, technique in shooting and    handling firearms

- To promote shooting activities to public as a recretional sport.

- To ensure that the laws and regulations of the club constitution are       followed by all members in this club.

At early of it foundation, the group founders only pays their attention to members of police and army. Later when shooting activities was introduced to public seriously as a recreational sport,  the  club then received many memberships from resident of the area. The earlier numbers of members was nearly 100people in 1983. When it develop to be more serious among founder they then, decide to register as Kelab Menembak Kedah Selatan under Malaysia Sports Commission in 1998.

Today after approximately 15 years, South Kedah Shooting Club  strives  hardly to achieve every of its mission and vision. Thus, efforts to develop talent poured - new talent in shooting sports through various trainings conducted consistently at the club. In an effort to want to make the club as a shooting club in Kedah and thus leading in Malaysia, Dato 'Chin Swee Chun, President of South Kedah Shooting club was assisted by passion and guided National Shooters Vice President, Mr. Leong Wei Heng. He was a National Shooters together with the other trap shooters undergo various training every day so that the club can afford  potential athletes.
